About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Consultant to join our team at SLR Consulting Australia Pty Ltd. As a key member of our Environmental Management Permitting & Compliance team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to our clients on a wide range of environmental issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients and internal team members
  • Developing and coordinating the delivery of Mine Rehabilitation and Closure Plans and Estimated Rehabilitation Cost calculations
  • Working within and leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects across various sectors
  • Delivering clear and precise, high-quality reports
  • Occasional travel to undertake field studies
Requirements
  • A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Environmental Science, preferably in Consulting
  • Demonstrated experience working on multidisciplinary projects
  • Working knowledge of QLD environmental legislation and policies, standards, and guidelines
  • Experience in the mining, infrastructure, power, and/or agribusiness sectors is highly valued
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with consulting software and intermediate-advanced Excel skills
  • Australian Citizenship or rights to work in Australia
