**Job Opportunity: Lead Injury Metrics Specialist**We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Research, Insights and Evaluation team within the Road Safety Division. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in identifying and developing evidenced-based best practice strategy, investments and programs that will most cost-effectively reduce transport fatalities and serious injuries.The successful candidate will be responsible for leading assessments, improvements and strategic recommendations for injury metrics, integrating national and international best practices. They will work closely with specialist data agencies, Victoria's road safety partners, and divisions within the TAC who are involved in the collection and use of injury and claims data.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead assessments, improvements and strategic recommendations for injury metrics, integrating national and international best practices.
  • Collaborate with various specialists, agencies and partners to align TAC data with best practices, fostering strong collaborative relationships both internally and externally.
  • Synthesise complex findings into actionable insights, communicate effectively with senior leadership and government agencies, and provide mentoring and guidance to team members.
