Procurement Manager

We are seeking a driven procurement professional to lead our contracting and sourcing strategies, driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, cost, and schedule.

  • Negotiate high-value contracts and oversee contract management against performance indicators.
  • Develop sourcing strategies taking into account supply chain risk and contingencies, IR strategies, and commercial outcomes.
  • Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous outcomes for the business.
  • Examine and test existing contracts against a range of metrics and provide recommendations for way forward.
  • Perform risk management for the business across critical supply contracts and agreements.
  • Drive a step change in cost culture; working with key budget holders to build commercial skillset, improved cost diligence, and proactively manage budgets.
  • Lead a team of Procurement Professionals and collaborate with stakeholders on contract tender/award processes.

  • Strong leadership capability.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated business management experience.
  • Experience in delivering cultural change programs.
  • Ability to analyse data/trends and make difficult decisions.
  • Experience in negotiating and managing procurement and supply contracts.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as ability to understand the market.
