Business Health and Safety Lead

The Work Health and Safety Professional plays a crucial role in ensuring our workplace is free from harm. This involves implementing strategic plans and programs, overseeing injury coordination and return to work, and chairing the OHS Committee.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing professional health and safety advice across the organisation
- Implementing strategic WHS plans and programs
- Oversight of injury coordination and return to work, including WorkCover, TAC, and personal injury support
- Independent injury assessment (IME)
- Chairing the OHS Committee
Requirements:
- Diploma of Health and Safety or significant work experience in a lead health and safety position
- Strong knowledge of WorkCover, Personal Injury, and Worker TAC management
- Previous experience with injury and/or WorkCover and injury coordination
- Excellent analytical and report writing skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
