Collection Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Collection Specialist to support our clients in managing their financial commitments. Your role will involve working closely with clients to resolve any issues that may have led to arrears.

You will be responsible for collecting overdue asset finance accounts, handling inbound calls regarding account inquiries, and communicating with internal and external parties to resolve customer queries.

In this role, you will assess clients for financial assistance and work closely with the hardship team as needed. You will also help customers understand their financial commitments to prevent future arrears.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months of collections experience with exposure to skip tracing. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the asset finance industry.

You will need to possess exceptional relationship-building skills with a compassionate yet results-focused nature. The ability to build customer-centric relationships with a soft approach to collections is essential.

Apart from being highly organized and able to work well under pressure, you must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, considerate, and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting overdue asset finance accounts up to 30 days in arrears.
  • Supporting clients throughout the recovery process.
  • Handling inbound calls regarding overdue account inquiries.
  • Communicating with internal and external parties to resolve customer queries.
  • Assessing clients for financial assistance.
  • Helping customers understand their financial commitments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 12 months of collections experience.
  • Preferably, experience in the asset finance industry.
