Production Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our workshop teams in the delivery of high-quality products safely, efficiently, and on time.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical or engineering background, with knowledge of fabrication and assembly processes, and proven ability to coach, mentor, and drive team performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of tradespersons, trades assistants, and leading hands to achieve production goals in quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Develop and implement systems to monitor productivity, analyze KPIs, and resolve production challenges proactively.
  • Coordinate dispatch and deliveries, support workshop planning, and contribute to accurate stock and inventory management through systems like Epicor.
  • Ensure maintenance needs are proactively planned with internal and external providers, minimising downtime and extending equipment reliability.
Requirements:
  • Trade qualification in an Engineering discipline and/or post-secondary qualifications in business or management (desirable)
  • Experience supervising medium-sized teams in a workshop or manufacturing environment
  • A strong technical or engineering background with knowledge of fabrication and assembly processes
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and drive team performance
  • Familiarity with workshop systems such as Epicor, work planning, inventory management, and vendor coordination
  • Commitment to safety and experience embedding safe work systems on the floor
