Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join our Horizontal Directional Drill and Hydrovac team in the Cairns region. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operating excavators, skid steers, hydrovacs, or directional drills for various tasks including underground electrical ducting and pit installations.
  • Working with the ADK horizontal drill team to support their operations or performing tasks for third-party clients.
  • Installing pipes ranging from 63mm to 600mm using directional drilling techniques.
About the Role

This opportunity offers a competitive salary of approximately $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have a HR license and preferably experience with operating equipment such as excavators, skid steers, hydrovacs, or directional drills.

ADK provides comprehensive training for successful applicants to operate both hydrovacs and directional drills.
