ADK is seeking a highly skilled Drilling and Excavation Specialist to join its horizontal directional drill and hydrovac team in the Cairns region. This full-time position offers a competitive salary.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for operating various heavy machinery, including excavators, skid steers, hydrovacs, and directional drills. While experience with these machines is preferred, ADK provides comprehensive training to ensure the candidate has the necessary skills to perform their duties efficiently.

The primary focus of this role is on excavation work, specifically underground electrical ducting and pit installations. Additionally, the specialist will assist the ADK horizontal drill team or perform tasks for third-party clients using hydrovac excavations. Another key responsibility is installing pipes ranging from 63mm to 600mm using directional drilling techniques.
