Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in strategic land use planning, with a focus on delivering high-quality projects that meet client needs.

The role will involve leading and contributing to the preparation of strategic land use planning projects, including growth strategies, precinct plans, employment and housing studies, and supporting technical inputs. You will also provide high-quality planning analysis and advice informed by current government policies, regional and local priorities, and stakeholder needs.

You will collaborate with internal and external multidisciplinary teams, including specialists in economics, urban design, transport, infrastructure advisory, community planning, and stakeholder engagement. Additionally, you will prepare and review reports, presentations, and public-facing documents that communicate complex planning concepts clearly and persuasively.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of strategic planning and related legislation, gained in a consultancy or local/state government environment. A tertiary qualification in Urban and Regional Town Planning or a related discipline is essential. Ideally, you will have minimum 3 years' experience within an Urban Planning firm-based environment.
