We're on the hunt for a Contaminated Land Specialist who's ready to roll up their sleeves and make a difference. You'll work closely with technical leads, regulators, and auditors to assess risk, manage sites, and influence major redevelopment projects across QLD and beyond.

The Role

You'll be responsible for conducting preliminary and detailed site investigations (PSIs, DSIs), designing and interpreting sampling, analysis and risk-based site assessments, preparing remediation action plans and site management strategies, developing Conceptual Site Models (CSMs) that hold water, writing reports that are clear, sharp and regulator-ready, collaborating with clients, auditors, labs and field teams, and guiding junior staff.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting site investigations and assessments
  • Designing and interpreting sampling and analysis
  • Preparing remediation action plans and site management strategies
  • Developing Conceptual Site Models (CSMs)
  • Writing clear and concise reports
  • Collaborating with clients and stakeholders
  • Guiding junior staff
What We Need from You

To succeed in this role, you'll need a degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Chemistry, Engineering or similar, 3–6 years of experience in contaminated land consulting, a solid grip on NEPM and relevant QLD guidelines (ESR, DES, CRC CARE), fieldwork confidence + technical writing chops, strong client communication skills and commercial awareness, and an analytical brain and practical, solutions-focused mindset.
