Contract Management Officer - Offshore Patrol Vessel Systems Program Office

As a critical member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in achieving complex contract management work within an integrated workforce.

  • Assisting with and undertaking procurement planning, tendering, and contract formation activities to ensure compliance with legislation and policies.
  • Coordinating advice and service for procurement policy, technical, commercial, legal, financial investigation requirements to support contract management outcomes.
  • Monitoring and managing contract administration, performance, and risks against the contract, contributing to implementing appropriate action.

The team supports the new Arafura Class Offshore Patrol Vessels currently under construction in Australia. The Future Maritime Sustainment Model is being implemented to realise Plan Galileo; Maritime System Division's national approach to sustainment of the naval fleet.

You will be based in Henderson, WA, a growing hub of activity pivotal to Australia's sovereign Naval capability well into the future. As an Australian Public Servant in Defence, you can access flexible working arrangements including part-time work, occasional remote work, and varied working hours.
