Job Title: Aps 6Role Overview

The Maintenance Officer role is accountable under broad direction to achieve complex materiel logistics maintenance support work within an integrated workforce.

This position involves working within the Offshore Patrol Vessel System Program Office (OPV SPO) Maintenance Team as part of an enterprise-wide workforce based on the Defence Maritime Sustainment Model.

About Our Workforce

In response to the Australian Government's nationwide naval shipbuilding initiative, the Maritime Sustainment Model is being implemented to realise Plan Galileo; a long-term approach to sustainment of the naval fleet.

As a Maintenance Officer, you will contribute to building and sustaining Australia's naval fleet while enjoying attractive working conditions as an Australian Public Servant in Defence.

You can expect flexible working arrangements, including part-time work and occasional remote work, with varying hours that may not adhere to traditional nine-to-five schedules.
