As a Clinical Audiologist, you will play a critical role in enhancing the lives of individuals with hearing impairments.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position that requires 3 days at our Warwick clinic and 2 days at our Stanthorpe clinic, operating from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses of client hearing loss using advanced techniques.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and make referrals to medical practitioners as necessary.
  • Develop personalized solutions for hearing impairment, incorporating amplification, implantable devices, and assistive listening technologies.
  • Provide empathetic counselling, advice, and information to clients and their families throughout the treatment process.
  • Collaborate on noise control and hearing conservation strategies.
Key Qualifications:
  • A university degree in Audiology or equivalent TAFE qualification.
  • Current membership or eligibility for membership with AudA or ACAud.
  • A valid QP number.
  • Demonstrated expertise in audiological skills and knowledge.
  • Superior customer service and communication skills.
  • The ability to learn new software systems with training.
  • A proven track record of achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
