Our organization is seeking an accomplished Audiologist to join our team. This vital role involves assessing and diagnosing hearing loss, recommending solutions and providing aural rehabilitation programs.Responsibilities:
  • Evaluating clients' hearing abilities using various methods
  • Reporting assessment results and referring clients to medical professionals when necessary
  • Offering recommendations for individuals with hearing impairments, including amplification devices, implantable technology, medical interventions and assistive listening tools
  • Providing counseling, guidance and information to clients and their families as part of overall treatment
  • Assisting with noise control and hearing conservation strategies
  • Delivering treatment and management of hearing and communication disorders
Requirements:
  • A university degree in Audiology or TAFE Audiometry qualification
  • Current membership or eligibility for membership of AudA or ACAud
  • Current QP number
  • Demonstrated expertise in audiological skills and knowledge
  • Excellent customer service and care skills
  • Ability to learn new software
  • Proven ability to meet key performance indicators
  • Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Good team working skills
  • Ability to network with general practitioners and other allied health professionals
