**Electrical Project Director Opportunity**

About the Role:

A leading joint venture is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Director to oversee electrical aspects of water, wastewater, and recycled water projects. This exciting opportunity involves delivering services across Sydney Water's North region, spanning from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River.

The role offers a unique chance to work on a 10-year program for Sydney Water's North region, involving design and construction of new assets such as pipelines, pump stations, and wastewater treatment plants, along with maintenance and facilities management of existing infrastructure.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the electrical aspects of water supply, wastewater, and recycled water projects, ensuring electrical design solutions meet industry standards and client specifications.
  • Oversee project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve high-quality outcomes and meet key project milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental practices, and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project budgets, schedules, and financial forecasts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and clients, ensuring strong communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Produce and review technical documentation, such as project reports, risk assessments, and construction methodologies.
Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an Electrical trade, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in managing large-scale civil infrastructure projects, particularly within the water or utilities sector.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design solutions for water and wastewater projects.
  • Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
  • Experience working within joint venture environments and managing cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
