An established and respected electrical services provider, with a legacy of excellence since 2004, is seeking a dynamic Senior Electrical Project Manager to join their high-performing team.
About the Role
As a Senior Electrical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of major projects across the Sydney Metropolitan Area.
Reporting directly to the General Manager/Director, you will be responsible for overseeing Level 1 projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget-all while exceeding client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project delivery with a focus on safety, quality, and commercial outcomes specialising in overhead and underground power distribution.
Drive continuous improvement in project processes, systems, and methodologies
Build and maintain strong relationships with utilities, developers, consultants, and contractors
Supervise and mentor site teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
Manage project risk, from identification through to mitigation
Conduct site inspections and oversee procurement of materials and equipment
Identify and support new business opportunities and innovative solutions
Mentor and develop internal team members, nurturing future leaders
Engage collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external
About You
Formal qualifications in Civil/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (Diploma or Degree level preferred)
Demonstrated experience managing complex overhead and underground construction projects up to 11kV
Proven track record in project management, with a focus on safety leadership and HSE performance
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
Commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset
Valid driver's licence
