Lead Electrical Infrastructure Projects

A Senior Electrical Project Manager is sought to oversee the delivery of major electrical projects across Sydney's metropolitan area.

About the Role

As a Senior Electrical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful project outcomes. Reporting directly to the General Manager/Director, you will be responsible for overseeing Level 1 projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within commercial requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee project delivery with a focus on safety, quality, and commercial outcomes specialising in overhead and underground power distribution.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project processes, systems, and methodologies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with utilities, developers, consultants, and contractors.
  • Supervise and mentor site teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Manage project risk from identification through to mitigation.
  • Conduct site inspections and oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Identify and support new business opportunities and innovative solutions.
  • Mentor and develop internal team members, nurturing future leaders.
  • Engage collaboratively with stakeholders, both internal and external.
About You

Formal qualifications in Civil/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline are required. Demonstrated experience managing complex overhead and underground construction projects up to 11kV is essential. A proven track record in project management, with a focus on safety leadership and HSE performance, is also necessary.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills are required. Commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset is essential. A valid driver's licence is also required.
