Dynamic Speech Pathologist and Clinical Educator Opportunity

St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne is seeking a skilled Grade 3 Speech Pathologist/Clinical Educator to join their dynamic team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality clinical teaching and speech pathology services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage patients with communication and swallowing disorders, adhering to current professional standards and policies.
- Contribute to the clinical education program and support staff in provision of clinical education.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of departmental clinical policies and best practices.
- Provide information counseling on communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders to patients, carers, and other staff as required.
Classification and Salary
This position falls within the classification range of VW6 - VW9, with a salary ranging from $102,091 to $116,646 per annum (pro rata).
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) or equivalent qualification.
- Eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia and knowledge of their position papers/code of ethics.
- A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) or willingness to obtain.
