Job Opportunity: Administration Trainee

This is a fantastic opportunity for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander individuals to gain hands-on administration experience within a business environment while undertaking vocational education training studies.


About the Role
  • Completing a Certificate III in Business Administration.
  • Providing administrative and service support to your workplace supervisor and business unit.
  • Maintaining record keeping and filing systems.
  • Using computerised information systems and related technologies.
  • Prioritising own and other adhoc tasks to meet required deadlines.
  • Working collaboratively with your workplace supervisor and colleagues.
  • Building and maintaining professional workplace relations with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Complete a 12-month traineeship in Business Administration, gaining practical experience and skills.
  2. Undertake a Certificate III in Business (Administration) traineeship, supported by Western Sydney University.
  3. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
  4. Develop strong communication and problem-solving skills.

About You
  • Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Person.
  • Have completed a year 9 level of schooling or equivalent.
  • Display a commitment to enrol and complete a Certificate III in Business (Administration) traineeship for 12 months.
  • Be passionate about working in a business environment and developing administration skills.
