Job Title: Operations Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to support our Regional Operations Manager, Area Managers, HR Business Partner and broader New South Wales country operations team. As an Operations Assistant, you will provide full administration functions including maintaining and monitoring systems that support operations, providing support in relation to our safety management systems, policies and procedures, and distributing key regional operations information to internal and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and monitoring systems that support operations, including purchasing, learning and finance
  • Providing support in relation to our safety management systems, policies and procedures
  • Providing professional and timely customer service to existing and prospective internal and external customers
  • Distributing key regional operations information to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Undertaking administrative project work as required
  • Acting as a super user of Kronos - our time and attendance system; providing high level support to operations leaders
  • Coordinating regional training for employees
  • Coordinating the annual harvest casual recruitment process
About Your Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong analytical understanding and ability to read a P&L statement, intermediate ability in MS Excel, and some experience with finance, procurement and/or people management systems (ideally SAP but not essential). You must also have a high attention to detail and timeliness in completing work, a proactive approach to work in general, positive outlook and ability to work with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities, and basic understanding of payroll, return-to-work coordination and safety, health and environment.
