We are seeking a talented professional to fill the role of Risk Governance Manager. This position will be based in Australia and involves working with senior leadership and various business units to embed risk considerations into strategic initiatives and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior executives to develop and implement effective risk management strategies that promote a culture of risk awareness throughout the organization.
  • Establish and maintain integrated reporting mechanisms that provide timely insights into risk management activities, governance effectiveness, and compliance status for senior leaders and relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver training programs focused on risk management tools and systems, ensuring employees have the necessary skills to leverage data and analytics effectively.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and provide insights on emerging regulatory changes.
Requirements:
  • Hold a university-level qualification in finance, law, business management, economics, or an equivalent field.
  • Have proven experience in governance, regulatory compliance, or legal areas, particularly within the financial services sector in Australia, New Zealand, or the United Kingdom.
  • Possess a strong understanding of risk management systems, frameworks, and compliance requirements, with the ability to provide strategic advice to senior executives and Board stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior executives and Boards.
