About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of People & Culture to join our team at the Government of South Australia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our workforce and driving excellence in human resources services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to our human resources function, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement proactive workforce strategies that drive innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead a team of human resources professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Collaborate with senior management and executive levels to provide expert advice on human resource management matters, including talent management, succession planning, and performance management.
  • Formulate and implement policies, procedures, and programs that promote a positive and inclusive work culture, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
