About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our passionate and supportive team as an Assistant Director at the Armstrong Creek East Children's Centre.

This role requires someone who is prepared to provide assistance in all aspects of running the centre, working within a strength-based and family centred approach.

The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising in a childcare environment and a genuine passion for creating a safe, secure and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop warm, respectful and positive relationships with staff, children and families

Supervise and support Educators in delivering high-quality early childhood education and care

Develop and implement programs and services that meet the needs of children and families

Contribute to the development and implementation of centre policies and procedures

Requirements

As a minimum, completed a Diploma Early Childhood Education and Care qualification

Hold a valid Employee Working with Children Check

Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate

Successfully completed 'Protecting Children Mandatory reporting and other obligations for the Early Childhood Sector' training

Have a well-developed understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and National Regulations
