About the RoleWe are currently seeking an exceptional individual to join our passionate and supportive team at the Armstrong Creek East Children's Centre as an Assistant Director/2IC. This role requires someone who is prepared to provide assistance in all aspects of running the centre, promoting a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor Educators in a childcare environment, working within a strength-based and family-centred approach
- Develop warm, respectful, and positive relationships with staff, children, and families
- Contribute to creating a collaborative and inclusive team culture
- Support the development of educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- A minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification
- Experience in supervising and mentoring in a childcare environment
- Valid Employee Working with Children Check and current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with stakeholders and families from diverse backgrounds
