Caregiver Job Opportunity in Toowoomba

  • About the Role:
  • This is a casual position available immediately.
  • You will be working with clients in their own homes or in our facility.
  • You will be responsible for providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • You will assist clients with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks.
  • You will engage with clients in activities that promote social interaction and community participation.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Disability or equivalent qualification.
  • Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a disability support role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  • Personal Qualities:
  • Compassionate and empathetic towards clients.
  • Patient and understanding when dealing with challenging behaviors.
  • Able to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
