We are seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to lead our team and provide high-quality care to our residents. As a Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical care of our residents, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legislation, and coordinating liaison between residents, their families, and healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and oversee clinical care within the service, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Coordinate liaison between residents, their families, unit staff, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive input into resident assessments and care.
  • Liaise with medical practitioners, allied health, and other healthcare professionals to ensure positive outcomes for our residents.
  • Oversee training and development programs for RNs, ENs, and Care Workers, monitor staff competency levels, and identify training needs to ensure continuous improvements.
  • Monitor and identify AN-ACC reviews, including ensuring that documentation is proficient and consumer care funding is maximised.
  • Incident management: effectively manage incidents and ensure impact is minimised with appropriate actions taken to make improvements where needed.

Essential qualifications and experience include:

  • AHPRA Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse working within the aged care sector
  • Strong clinical skills and an extensive knowledge of the aged care standards and regulations
  • An understanding of the AN-ACC process, assessments, and reviews
  • A background in the training and development of staff
  • Great communication skills and an ability to understand and appreciate cultural diversity
  • An empathetic approach to patient care
