
Eco Tourism Marketing Specialist

As a Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in helping us share the stories of our walks and driving digital campaigns. Your primary responsibility will be to develop search engine optimised content and make technical updates to our website.
You will also be responsible for updating itineraries and other marketing collateral as required, coordinating paid social media advertising, and reviewing social media advertisement trends to ensure compliance with relevant advertising rules and regulations.
Additionally, you will produce creative and on-brand copy writing for campaign messaging, email marketing, blog posts, itinerary development, and other marketing collateral, and respond to traveller reviews on digital platforms and engage in social listening on social media sites.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting the Marketing Manager in implementing the company marketing strategy
- Developing search engine optimised content and making technical updates to the website
- Updating itineraries and other marketing collateral as required
- Coordinating paid social media advertising, including set-up, monitoring, and ongoing management to optimise advertisement performance
- Reviewing social media advertisement trends and ensuring compliance with relevant advertising rules and regulations
- Producing creative and on-brand copy writing for campaign messaging, email marketing, blog posts, itinerary development, and other marketing collateral
- Responding to traveller reviews on digital platforms, as well as engaging in social listening on social media sites
- Experience in a marketing role, preferably in tourism
- Working knowledge of social media advertisement trends
- Strong writing skills and ability to tell a compelling story
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience using a content management system (CMS) or willingness to learn
- Genuine interest in eco-tourism and nature
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or business
