
Strategic Partnership Developer

The role combines strategic partnership development with hands-on relationship management, offering significant opportunities to contribute to combined initiatives and broader organisational strategy.
- Explore and develop university, industry and government partnership opportunities across markets, including identifying institutions and vendors aligned with strategic objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with career services, student organisations, and academic leadership to enhance student engagement with platforms.
- Plan and execute Higher Education industry events as part of business development and relationship management strategy.
- Contribute to strategic planning initiatives, leveraging industry knowledge and market insights to inform business direction.
- Represent the organisation at Higher Education industry conferences, university career fairs, and networking events.
- Manage day-to-day requests from universities and vendors, ensuring high levels of service delivery and partnership satisfaction.
- Support system integrations by leveraging platform knowledge and industry understanding to bridge requirements between Higher Education space and the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain comprehensive partnership strategies that align with both university objectives and organisational goals. Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reporting on student engagement and platform adoption rates. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of partnership commitments and service excellence.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of partnership development or business development experience, with demonstrated success in building strategic relationships.
- Strong understanding of the Australian and New Zealand Higher Education landscape, including career services and student engagement practices.
- Experience working with vendors and understanding of technology integration requirements.
- Proven track record in relationship management with ability to influence and collaborate at senior organisational levels.
- Experience in event planning and execution, particularly within the Higher Education sector.
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple partnerships and initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence in representing the organisation at industry events and conferences.
- Commercial acumen with understanding of partnership models and value creation in B2B environments.
- Strategic thinking capabilities with interest in contributing to organisational strategy and system integration initiatives.
- Cultural awareness and understanding of market dynamics and regulatory environment.
