ICT Operations Manager Role

We are seeking a skilled ICT operations manager to oversee the daily operation of our team, ensuring systems and networks run smoothly. The successful candidate will have experience with systems installation, configuration, and analysis, as well as strong leadership skills managing personnel across multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Develop and implement policies, processes, and procedures to improve IT operations and increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Perform HR duties such as recruiting, selecting, scheduling, counselling, and disciplining employees.
  • Lead a team of ICT professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their goals and objectives.
About You

We are looking for someone with proven experience in ICT operations management, excellent communication skills, and a recognized degree qualification in Operations or equivalent level of demonstrable competence. A valid Driver's License and relevant Workplace Health and Safety training are also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the daily operation of a small ICT team to ensure systems and networks run smoothly.
  2. Develop and implement policies, processes, and procedures to improve IT operations and increase efficiency and productivity.
  3. Perform HR duties such as recruiting, selecting, scheduling, counselling, and disciplining employees.
  4. Lead a team of ICT professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their goals and objectives.
  5. Manage the planning and scheduling of deliveries, collections, and support to best utilize available resources.
  6. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing site environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
