Job Title

The role of a Client Advocate involves guiding individuals through the complexities of insurance with compassion and expertise. This position requires managing and processing various types of cases and payments, including Total Permanent Disability (TPD), Income Protection (IP) insurance claims, Death (D), and Terminal Illness (TI) claims, as well as Family Law claims and early release payments for financial hardship or compassionate grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of the entire process of Death Claims, ensuring exceptional service to beneficiaries and claimants by addressing their inquiries and supporting them throughout the process.
  • Review and challenge insurer decisions, including declined claims.
  • Prepare trustee recommendations for approval.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for proactive, solution-focused interactions with individuals, beneficiaries, and legal representatives.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Claims Client Advocate, particularly with Death Claims.
  • Expertise in Claims Staking.
  • Demonstrated ability to review and challenge insurer decisions, including declined claims.
  • The skill to prepare trustee recommendations for approval.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for proactive, solution-focused interactions with individuals, beneficiaries, and legal representatives.
