As a dedicated professional in the field of early childhood education, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all children, regardless of their abilities, have equal access to quality education and care.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with educators, families, and specialists to develop and implement individualized support plans for children with additional needs.

You will provide guidance and support to educators in adopting inclusive practices, empowering them to create a learning environment where every child can participate, learn, and thrive.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver high-quality support programs for children with additional needs.
  • Providing expert guidance on inclusive practices, ensuring that all children have the opportunity to engage meaningfully in the learning environment.
  • Assisting in sourcing and utilizing specialist equipment and resources to facilitate inclusion, in line with established guidelines and protocols.
  • Promoting understanding and awareness of inclusion within the broader community, advocating for the rights and needs of all children.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience in supporting children with additional needs.
  • A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care, such as an ACECQA-approved diploma or certificate III in Education Support.
  • Current First Aid training and CPR certification.
  • A valid Employee Working with Children Check.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS).
  • A commitment to upholding a Child Safe Organisation and promoting inclusive practices.
