About this role:

An Inclusion Support Educator is a dedicated professional who works collaboratively with early childhood education and care services to ensure that all children, including those with additional needs, have equitable access to quality education and care.

This role is integral to fostering inclusive environments where every child can participate, learn, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with educators, families, and specialists to develop individualised support plans for children with additional needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to educators in adopting inclusive practices, ensuring all children can engage meaningfully in the learning environment.
  • Assist in sourcing and utilising specialist equipment and resources to facilitate inclusion, in line with the Inclusion Support Program guidelines.
  • Promote understanding and awareness of inclusion within the broader community, advocating for the rights and needs of all children.

What we're looking for:

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting children with additional needs.
  • A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or Certificate III in Education Support.
  • Current First Aid training and CPR Certificate.
  • A valid Working with Children Check.
  • Knowledge of EYLF and NQS.
  • A commitment to upholding a Child Safe Organisation and inclusive practices.
