Operations Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to lead our warehouse operations in Bundaberg. As the key leader, you will oversee daily warehouse activities, transport, and inventory management to ensure seamless execution.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of daily warehouse functions including dispatch, receipting, stock rotation, and compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Maintenance of a safe, compliant, and audit-ready work environment through coaching, clear communication, and consistent leadership.
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to achieve peak performance and contribute to a positive company culture.
  • Inventory management; stock movement, storage, and system receipting.
  • Support for recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth start and strong foundation for new team members.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in warehousing operations or perishable stock management.
  • Leadership experience of teams of 12 people in fast-paced operations or warehouse environments.
  • Natural coaching and leadership skills, with ability to upskill, mentor, and get the best out of team members.
  • Hands-on approach, with strong knowledge of team dynamics, stock control, and process efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple departments.
