The Team Leader – Allied Health Care will oversee the delivery of high-quality allied health care to community age care customers in the Bundaberg region.
This role involves leading a multi-disciplinary team of allied health professionals, ensuring effective customer and organizational outcomes, and providing evidence-based allied health services during intake, assessment, and therapeutic intervention.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing daily leadership, management, support, and guidance for a team of allied health professionals
- Ensuring the provision of clinical excellence, evidence-based clinical care, quality, effectiveness, and high standards of allied health services for customers
- Conducting team meetings and multidisciplinary case discussions
- Reporting accurate and timely allied health updates
- Contributing to operational quality assurance and improvement practices
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A post-secondary or tertiary qualification in an Allied Health discipline and current registration with AHPRA or other professional body
- Advanced level of allied health skills and demonstrated experience in community age care health service delivery
- Proven ability in the leadership of multidisciplinary allied health teams, including the provision of supervision and facilitation of allied health review and management of risk for less experienced staff
- Demonstrated ability to apply continuous quality improvement principles in service development
- Demonstrated experience working with varied stakeholders combined with high-level customer service skills and a proven track record in building positive relationships and trust
