Lubrication Technician

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing lubrication maintenance activities to the required standards on a wide range of assets across the refinery.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and extend asset lifespan.
  • Manage assigned work schedules, confirm work order operations, raise notifications, order parts and modify work orders when required.
  • Support the hydrocarbon program by collecting oil samples for analysis, particle count and wear particle analysis.
  • Support the hydrocarbon team in solving oil-related problems on critical plant assets and recommending and implementing improvements.

  • Previous relevant work experience is advantageous.
  • Competent in the use of basic tools necessary for the work involved.
  • Willingness to learn and be customer focussed.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task as required.
