Professional Life Insurance Sales Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Professional Life Insurance Sales Specialist to join our team at AIA.
As a key member of our Financial Services department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our customers.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage and provide leads from referral partners related to Life Insurance, Private Health Insurance, and Financial planning needs. You will be committed to making a positive difference in our customers' lives by helping them understand the connection between financial wellbeing, and physical and mental wellbeing.
To succeed in this role, you will:
- Provide excellent customer engagement by owning the referral process and ensuring the most appropriate offering based on the customer's needs
- Assist customer queries over the phone through inbound/outbound calls as well as digital channels
- Educate our customers on the full range of products and services, so they can make informed decisions on what is appropriate for their needs
- Build your knowledge of the Advice industry, legislative changes, and attend professional development and compliance training sessions
- Be curious and interested in continuously growing your knowledge and learning to provide a better service to customers
- Collaborate with different parts of the business to help with ongoing business initiatives
This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your industry-leading telephone-based sales and Life Insurance experience to AIA. We offer a competitive salary package of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus access to our comprehensive training and development programs.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- RG146 Qualified (General Knowledge, Life Insurance, Superannuation)
- Demonstrated ability working in high volume, fast-paced telephone-based sales environment
- Working within a regulated environment with a strong focus on compliance and quality
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Well-developed rapport building and customer engagement skills
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Strong work ethic with a high level of personal accountability
