Job Description

This role is a key point of contact for clients, providing pre- and post-sales technical advice and support. You will work closely with the sales team and other departments to achieve sales targets and grow product/system sales within your allocated region.

Responsibilities include:

  • Researching and developing new customers
  • Meeting sales targets and developing annual budgets
  • Initiating and developing contact with key and target customers
  • Managing direct sales channels for Hägglunds components and drive systems
  • Calculating customer quotations and negotiating tender and contract terms
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and engineering system designs
  • Analysing cost and sales data
  • Preparing sales and marketing reports
  • Providing training and support material for other sales team members
  • Supporting marketing activities and attending trade shows and conferences
  • Managing projects and developing technical competence and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years proven sales experience in a similar role
  • Diploma or degree in engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum Cert III Fitter and Machinist Trade Certificate or equivalent
  • Experience in hydraulic engineering or production
  • Customer-focused and proficient in PC and Microsoft Office skills
