About the Role

The role of a Billings Optimisation Officer is to ensure Capitol Radiology clinics effectively and efficiently bill for patient scans.

This position plays a critical part in delivering and continuously improving a national billing model, providing effective billing processes across the organisation. This includes:

  • Billing audits
  • Developing resources
  • Supporting strong change management in the RIS of billing MBS codes

As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of admin billing policies, training materials, and compliance audits.

You will work closely with stakeholders to gain endorsement for billing optimisation, set up and lead working groups, and facilitate workshops as needed.

Additionally, you will champion clinic billing within the RIS development, support revenue assurance, and ensure Medicare compliance and audit processes are consistently reviewed.
