About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Strategist to spearhead the development and implementation of comprehensive risk management frameworks. This is a key position where you will drive the assessment and management of operational, data, technology, and information security risks.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain enterprise level Operational Risk and Resilience Management Frameworks.
  • Assess and manage the bank's Operational Risk and Information Security Risk appetite.
  • Develop policies, standards, and guidelines aligned with industry best practices.
  • Provide oversight and challenge of processes supporting risk management.
  • Maintain Bank-wide information security management governance and frameworks.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on operational risks and operational risk profiles.
  • Partner with the business to implement and embed risk management frameworks.
  • Support the business in defining critical operations and processes, assessing associated risks, and testing controls.
  • Support the business in assessing and remediating incidents and issues.
  • Develop business continuity framework and support business continuity planning processes.
  • Prepare notifications for material control weaknesses and material security incidents.

Requirements

We are looking for a senior leader with a proven track record of shaping risk management strategies and fostering a culture of resilience. Your experience should include:

  • 10+ years industry related experience in an equivalent role.
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end development and enhancement of risk policies, procedures, and frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience managing technology and information security risks.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing Line 2 assurance programs and performance of assurance activities.
  • Extensive experience in writing and developing business documents, reports, and policies.

You will be a highly developed networker, interpersonally skilled, and an effective communicator. You should have a deep understanding of regulatory requirements associated with Information security.
