Risk Management Strategist Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager to partner with a key business unit, providing expert advice and support on all aspects of risk management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of risk management frameworks, controls, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Business Unit leadership team to embed the organisation's Risk Management Framework.
  • Lead and support risk assessments, ensuring effective controls are designed, implemented, and tested.
  • Partner with stakeholders to align business processes with best-practice risk management and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and transparent risk registers, providing insightful reporting to executive and enterprise-level stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Deep knowledge of risk management frameworks, controls, and compliance.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to assess risk in complex business and operational environments.
  • Analytical capability to interpret data and present clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience working with governance, audit, or regulatory stakeholders.
