We're doing it with our customers and communities as a key partner in delivering infrastructure solutions for the energy transition.We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Process Engineer Optimisation to join our team in Brisbane, QLD on a Permanent Full Time basis.Reporting to the Team Lead - Optimisation and Control Systems, you will play a key role in supporting the safe, secure, and efficient operation of our gas transmission assets, working alongside Controllers in the Integrated Operations Centre.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild Strong Relationships

  • Develop strong relationships with operations teams.
Champion Safety Fundamentals
  • Promote safety fundamentals and support risk-based decision-making.
Support Emissions Reduction Initiatives
  • Support emissions reduction initiatives and business processes that contribute to our 2050 Net Zero carbon targets.
Provide Day-to-Day Operational Support
  • Provide day-to-day frontline operational support to the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) and Control Room team.
Influence Stakeholders Effectively
  • Influence stakeholders effectively, including negotiating mutually agreeable outcomes.
Your BackgroundTertiary Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering, with eligibility for corporate membership of IChemE, Engineers Australia, or equivalent.
Previous Industry Experience
  • Previous oil and gas industry experience, highly regarded.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience with safety management systems, change management, and leading risk assessments including safeguards identification and monitoring.
  • Proficiency with data historian, analytics, visualisation, or simulation tools.
  • Experience as a process engineer in operational support, with strong data, analytical, and modelling capabilities.
