Drive Operational Excellence

The role of a Manufacturing Improvement Leader is to spearhead operational excellence at our Brisbane production site. Leveraging data skills, the successful candidate will identify trends, optimize processes, and inform strategic decision-making.

  • Lead and facilitate initiatives to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost through Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and implement standard work procedures, visual management tools, and process controls to enhance productivity.
  • Train and coach staff on continuous improvement tools and methodologies to foster a culture of innovation.
  • Analyze and interpret production data to identify trends, variances, and root causes, and develop dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs such as OEE, downtime, yield, and throughput.
  • Apply statistical tools to support problem-solving and decision-making, and present insights and recommendations to site leadership to support operational goals.
Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. In addition, the following experience and qualifications are required:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, packaging, distribution, or production environment.
  • Proven examples of improvement projects and use of data analysis to make strategic recommendations.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies, preferably with certification.
  • Able to work on-site with regular interaction on the shop floor, with exposure to manufacturing equipment, processes, and safety protocols.
