**Company Governance Support Role**

**Job Summary**

This role provides company governance support to enable directors to discharge their duties effectively. The position is responsible for the proper functioning of several subsidiaries within a large corporation.

The successful candidate will be a governance leader who can manage board meeting matters, coordinate corporate administration and regulatory filings, drive project management and quality management, lead and manage process and system development, enhancement, and training, and perform other secretariat ad hoc duties as required.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor of Laws or related Bachelor qualifications in a legal/business discipline
  • Member of the Governance Institute of Australia
  • Recent experience as an assistant company secretary or company secretary, preferably in a financial services firm
  • Corporations law, ASIC Regulations, and meeting administration experience
  • Technical acumen and proactive, continuous improvement attitude
