We are looking for a skilled production planner to join our team. As a key member, you will play a critical role in maintaining the as-planned configuration baseline, creating work orders and job cards, performing production scheduling, capacity planning, production monitoring, and production reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Creation of a detailed production schedule, work order and job card activities
  2. Assigning materials to complete work scope of job cards
  3. Development and assignment of production budgets based on allocation of business norms
  4. Progress monitoring, analysing and reporting on the production schedule to internal and external customers

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in a production, scheduling/production planning type role, preferably in shipbuilding/maintenance or heavy engineering industries
  • Working experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to suit a variety of different stakeholders
