About the RoleAs a Senior Finance Administrator, you will be a key member of the small finance team, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. Your responsibilities will include handling supplier payments, statutory returns, financial reporting, and payroll. You will collaborate frequently with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality results that align with our company values.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the filing of Business Activity Statements (BAS), processing payroll, and accounting to Trial Balance.
- Understand and apply GST calculations and legislation.
- Process bank account transactions, including bank reconciliations.
- Process incoming invoices into Accounting Systems.
- Process accounts payable in payment runs.
- Review general ledger allocations of credit cards and petty cash.
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Financial Services.
- Demonstrated previous experience in a finance role.
- Knowledge of payroll, company, and fringe benefits tax.
- Previous experience and understanding of professional practice.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient IT skills.
- Concise and effective communication skills.
