About the Role

As the Finance and Administration Officer, you will provide administrative and bookkeeping support for day-to-day finance management and project support. Your role will include a wide range of duties from general administrative tasks to supporting a change of accounting software and social media management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial project support
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Support with finance software migration
  • Support with preparations of BAS, financial reporting and reconciliations for multiple entities
  • Assist with social media management
  • Cover administration team leave requirements taking on higher duties at times
Requirements
  • Recent success in a finance officer or similar role
  • Understanding of double entry accounting
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to recommend solutions
  • Proficient in MS Office and accounting software, MYOB or Xero beneficial
  • Resilient, flexible and with good communication techniques, including a sense of humour
  • Not-for-profit sector experience helpful
