Technical Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Services Manager to join our team at Thiess. As a key representative of our organization, you will play a crucial role in assisting our clients in setting up their mining operations for successful execution.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to ensure seamless setup and transition of mining operations, providing expert technical advice and support on all aspects of the mining process.
- Develop and Implement Mining Plans: Oversee the development and implementation of mining plans and strategies, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Lead and Mentor a Team: Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals to achieve project goals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Liaise with Stakeholders: Liaise with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives, providing regular updates and progress reports.
- A degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a technical management role within the mining industry.
- Strong understanding of mining operations, planning, and development.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Willingness to relocate and work on-site at a mining project.
