Senior Planning Specialist

This key role is responsible for driving the creation, review and sign-off of sales forecasts for Infrabuild Reinforcing and Australian Reinforcing Company.

The Senior Planning Specialist plays a pivotal part in creating accurate estimates of future sales by collaborating with sales, commercial and lead teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain supply chain and Advanced Planning Operations (APO) Master Data to support planning and reporting processes.
  • Develop and execute statistical sales forecasting functionality in SAP APO.
  • Work closely with other SAP APO users to share knowledge and enhance forecast accuracy.
  • Create statistical sales forecasts ensuring modelling accurately represents historical data.
  • Recommend adjustments to improve forecast accuracy and provide context.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or Science.
  • Experience leading demand planning in complex distribution and manufacturing organisations.
  • Understanding of improvement initiatives across planning processes.
  • Advanced skills in SAP or Advanced Planning Systems and statistical forecasting techniques.
