This exciting role is centered around ensuring demand forecast integrity and accuracy. As a key member of our inventory and forecasting team, you will be responsible for interpreting and validating demand planning outputs.
The Forecast Analyst will work closely with merchandise planners to optimize inventory levels and achieve financial performance targets. This involves developing clear action plans and mitigation strategies through the use of demand planning reports.
You will build key inputs and strategies for the Demand TIR supporting the execution of our Merchandise Product Strategy. Additionally, you will nurture relationships with stakeholders and communicate analysis effectively to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Merchandise Planning to enhance inventory optimization and achieve financial objectives.
- Support the organization through improved forecasts and accurate reporting, influencing strategic decisions.
- Own the merchandise relationship, drive enhancements in forecast accuracy, and ensure continuous improvement throughout the planning function.
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve forecast quality and minimize errors.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Qualification in Data Analysis, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Commerce, Inventory, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- Proven skills in data analysis and reporting.
- Advanced Excel and Power Bi skills.
- Experience within retail, wholesale, or manufacturing industries.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Opportunity to contribute to a highly regarded inventory and forecasting team.
