About the Role

As a Business Development Manager at Uplift Recruitment, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business-to-business (B2B) clients. This exciting and varied role will see you working with a range of clients across the professional services industry.

You will ideally come from a sales-based role where you have the soft skills and ability to hold a conversation with high-ranking decision makers. Your role will entail scoping and qualifying leads, presenting the value of various different solutions, demonstrating the value proposition to the client, and closing the deal. You will have the support of sales administrators and account managers to onboard; your role is simply to hunt.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and secure new B2B clients.

  • Promote and upsell a range of supplementary products.
  • Offer clients post-sales implementation, training, and ongoing account management.
Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a sales role.
  • Technical aptitude with an ability to educate customers on a range of software products.
  • Establish effective relationships with clients and internal partners, fostering openness and trust.
